Client: The Design Society.
Output: Magazine cover, B2 art print.

Invited by The Design Society (Singapore) to contribute a cover design for their magazine, I responded to their theme of ‘Anew’ by imagining a new alphabet which unifies the languages of Singapore’s 3 predominant races (Chinese, Malay, and Tamil).

The newly created characters spell out ‘A new dawn, a new day’ by connecting points of the corresponding words from each language.

Another colour-way was also created for a poster show curated by Kapok, to mark the opening of Singapore’s National Design Centre.
