KULT MAGAZINE: MEGA SAUSAGE
I was invited by Singapore's Kult to contribute to their themed graphic arts magazine. The theme for this particular issue was food, and the quote I was given to work from 'Every year 18 million tonnes of edible food end up in landfills'. And so the mega sausage was born. Thanks to Steve Lawler for the opportunity.
CAMELOT: GOOD CAUSES
Camelot (UK's National Lottery) pour hundreds of millions into grants for good causes around the country. I was asked to come up with a series of smart, simple illustrations to help demonstrate the nice things they've done for 12 different regions across the UK, to be used on a microsite.
PEDS BAND LIVE AT SAXOPHONE
I was blown away by Ped's Band at the Saxophone Bar during a trip to Bangkok. Two guitarists, each the equal of Hendrix (no kidding!), bass and drum solos which didn't make me sleep and a keyboardist who could do ANYTHING.
Thanks to my friends at Suya Studio for their assistance with Thai translations and their ideas.

GULF WOMEN
Rejected artwork for the book 'Gulf Women' by Amira Sonbol. Commissioned by Bloomsbury QF Publishing on behalf of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser.
The vector illustration was (strongly) inspired by Jonathan Puckey's delauney raster script.
ARTCRANK LONDON 2011: BONES
My contribution to Artcrank's 2011 London poster show. A graphic–art/cycle enthusiast group, Artcrank set a cycle–related theme for the show, which was held at Look Mum No Hands, on Old Street.
My composition was made from the many sad–looking 'bones' of vandalised/thieved bicycles we see chained and hanging from posts, fences and bike stands around the city.
50x70, 5 colour, edition of 25. £45 each – email me
FIELDS
Super simple landscapes, attempting to use moiré line patterns to mimic the natural movement of grass.
A set of three comprising 'Dawn', 'Noon' & 'Dusk', the latter an experiment in comparing the advantages of digital printing ('Dusk') to the charms of hand printing ('Dawn' and 'Noon')—please let me know your thoughts on this.
'Dawn' & 'Noon'—each A3, 2 colour screen–printed gradients, editions of 10. £20 each
'Dusk'—A3, high quality inkjet print, edition of 10. £10 each
CHICAGO ART DEPARTMENT: JUNG SOUP
International poster show curated by Chicago Art Department, theme 'Power in Numbers'. My concept is based around Carl Jung's concept of collective unconscious and touches upon evolution and a transcendant fish... Too good an opportunity to miss, I flew to Chicago to join the CAD guys for the opening. The show was a huge success, and I also took the opportunity to give a talk to design students from Columbia College Chicago.

COFFEE SHOP COMEDY
A flyer for Tapped & Packed coffee shop's comedy night in Fitzrovia, London.
Hand rendered lettering across the top.
CONCH: SAUSAGE
'Imaginary Albums' project from Scrawl Collective's Ric Blackshaw.
My idea was to to work in elements of the book I was reading at the time ('Skinny Legs and All' by Tom Robbins, recommended) and simply have some fun with a format I'd always wanted to design for. Looks pretty funny, I'd say. I created front and back covers, also a tracklist sticker sheet to slip inside the sleeve so the listener can make what they want of the sequencing and the concepts of the album.

LONDON PIRATE RADIO
Commissioned for Split Cream's Dead Air show at Wiltons Cafe. Theme of the show, Radio. I looked at how pirate radio operates and a treasure map seemed a good way to combine this with a pun!
Using London's most popular existing pirate frequencies as faux co–ordinates, I created a fantasy map of Hackney (location of the show). Ever hear of Hackney Dunes..?
